William Tymon 1864 to 1902

William Tymon was the second son of James and Sarah Tymon and was born in 1864. He married Mary Bean at St. Mary’s in Scarborough on 29 January 1887. The parish records show his occupation at that time as ‘Vanman’. William Tymon died on 17 April 1902 aged just 37. Mary Bean was the daughter of John and Ann Bean and was christened at St. Mary’s in Castlegate, York on 22 May 1864.

In the 1891 census William is living at 48 Sandringham Street in Scarborough with his wife Mary (Bean) and his 2 children John William (aged 6) and Minnie (aged 3).

In 1901 William is still living at 48 Sandringham Street with John William, Mary and Minnie. They also have a boarder with them called John Robinson. William is now working as an Auctioneer's Van Man.
